cairns

We are leaving mission beach today to head back up to Cairns for a few days before leaving for Darwin. We will be in Darwin for 2 days and then fly to Singapore. If anyone knows of a good place to stay (on an island) in Malaysia that would be great. We haven't had time to research the best way to go as we are hoping to stay out of Thailand for as long as possible. We would like to fly  from Singapore North and then from there possibly head the Cambodia/ Vietnam and hopefully by then the unrest will be over in Bangkok.
