We're here!!

After a day of travel, 4 hours on a bus, 4 hours in the airport, 2 hours flying from Kuala Lumper to Saigon (Ho Chi Man city), 45 min. in the airport to get our visas in order  and 20 minutes taxi ride to hotel we are here. Yeah!!!

We hired a taxi to the GREAT hotel we gpt online for $20. Way better than anything we have gotten so far in Asia and way cheaper. We settled in and went for Veitnamees food. It was 10pm by the time we got our food.So yummy. I just love Veitnamees food. We have booked an all day tour tomorrow to see the underground tunnels and temples and we also booked a 2  day Mekong Delta boat tour. We don't want to sit around here, there is way to much to see.

One funny note on the traffic. Holy cow! I can hardly even describe it. There are a million motorcycles and scooters and cars and everyone just drives, passing all around each other. Driving and honking when another driver gets to close. I looked at them and thay all looked as though they don't even think about the fact that they are all so close to death. There are 4 people all on 1 scooter. A whole family weaving in and out of traffic. It was just nuts. They aslo drive on the right side of the road. This is the first time we have been back to the normal side of the road in 2 months. Very confusing, but it will be good to get back to normal so we won't cause an accident when we get home.

We are all doing really well. Spirits have been so high the whole time. It has been so much fun to hang out and just go where the wind blows us. The kids are in bed, the slight sound of the city is around us and we too will have to say goodnight.
