things we have learned so far

1. Colton can go into a restraunt and order a hot caramel sunday all by himself in Spain.
2. Whaha whaha means okey dokey on Arabic.
3. Lipazaner stalions originated in Slovania
4. Our family can spend 24/7 together for 6 weeks and still like each other and have fun.
5. can wash laundry in a sink or bidette for 6 weeks.
6. dynomite is not good for the marine eco-system.
7. Dean can wear a dress and still look great.
8. riding a camel can chaffes.
9. walking up sand dunes is harder than walking up a snow hill.
10. the average wage in many European countries is less than $10 Euros a day.
11. Southern and eastern europe is much the same in many ways as central america and mexico.
12. Female Lipazaners only get trained for pulling carts
13. Seville does not have any public pools.
14. we can go at least 6 weeks without any type of television or radio
15. 13 year olds feet can stink up a whole room.
16. hotel reviews are not always acurate.
17. skype is awsome
18. You can go to 11 different countries in 2 months and acually see and learn a lot.
19. We have so many people at home who love us.
20. Spain makes cafe con helados. Yumm yumm
21. It takes a lot of time to research travel
22. We can get tired from sitting on a bus or train all day
23. bull fighting is very unfair for the bull
24. Muslim people believe in Jesus
25. Muslim people are taught that it is wrong to ever kill another person.
26. Morocco is mostly Arabic.
27. We can win a race even on a camel.
28. We can pack up all the back packs in 8 minutes.
29. We can run high speed with our packs on for a 1/4 of a mile to catch a ferry.
30. Eropean people are not naked and hairy on the beaches.
31. We have learned to say thank you in 6 languages

Awesome update guys. So great to hear that you are still getting along. I love the list of things you've learned. Does this mean that you will install a bidet instead of a washing machine in the new house?
We think of you often and can't wait to see you again. I guess it's not long now until you're home. Grand Beach might be a bit of a bore for you now!

Awesome! So true! I think this is one of my favorite posts! It was so cool meeting Dean and Miranda on the metro today- isn't God funny!? And Miranda is adorable- she reminds me of Dakota Fanning (which is a good thing! I love Dakota Fanning!) Haha. Anyway, I've skimmed all of your blogs and am in awe! What an awesome way to live! I look forward to seeing more about your travels in the future! Enjoy your last few days in Lisboa!
