Some days are so good you think it can't get any better. Then you have those times when it feels really really hard. I think that is where we are at right now. It has always worked out that we find the best place and have such a great time and we are but this last bit feels....hard. We are tired. We feel like the planning takes so much time and we don't want to sit all day trying to find a train connection or hotel. We are trying to plan Africa, it has taken all day yesterday and today and we still don't have anything linned up. We can't go into Africa without a plan. Yet it is so hard to get anything booked. We are getting frustrated and it is showing. The kids just want to have fun and they have been stuck having nothing to do and being told to be quiet and not run around while we wait to a spanish speaking travel agent to try to find some info for us and then to try to understand what she is saying and if it what we want.
Here is a link to Erin's blog. She has some cool pictures and has been writing about what we have been doing from her side of things. http://offbeatandbarefoot.blogspot.com/ enjoy!

Thanks for being so real. It's nice to hear that side of travel too because then I don't hate you quite as much. Ha ha!! Seriously, we're very glad that things are looking up for the moment. During the hard moments, just remember that on any other summer day you might be weeding or mowing or cutting my hair!

Part of the ebb and flow of LIFE...and you're not exempt from that just because you're travelling i guess. Hang in there! And thanks so much for sharing it...gives us stuff to pray for!!

Hey Guys - It sounds like you're almost ready to park your butts on the beach and just relax for a bit! (and that can be good too).
Regardless of how it works out, I know you'll make the best of it (you always do :)! Just remember - If you don't see everything on this trip, it just gives you a reason to go back again some time!!
Good Luck! Ang
P.S. I'm told that wounded water buffalo's are NOT what you want to encounter in when you're in Africa (remind me to tell you a story about this some time!).
